Albert R. Dangelo, 84 of Canal Fulton, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Chapel Hill Community. Born on January 28, 1933 in Barberton to the late Angelo and Bertha (Schaer) Dangelo he was a life resident of the area, a 1951 graduate of Barberton High School, served in the US Air Force, retired from Sheet Metal Local #33, RiverTree Christian Church and was a member of Legacy Christian Church, Clinton. Al was an amazing husband father, grandfather and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ed and sister Marge Hammett. Al is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma (Pratt) Dangelo; children, Al (Chris) and Ray Dangelo; grandchildren, Maria, Alena, Laura and Elisa; sisters, Irene Hamlin, Sue Durieux; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, 11:00 am at RiverTree Christian Church, 7373 Portage St. NW (Jackson Twp.), Eugene Lingenhoel, officiating. Final resting place Clinton Cemetery. Calling Hours, Wednesday, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton and Thursday one hour prior to services at the church.
