Connie Locke, 71 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 after a five and a half year battle with ovarian cancer. Connie was born February 14, 1945 in Barberton to the late William and Geneva (Weigand) Tallman. Her home was always open to family, friends and children. The house was always full. The stray and runaway animals even found a home here.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister Nancy Mason; She is survived by her husband and best friend of 46 years John; daughter, Julie (Aaron) Moore; son, William (Maranda) Locke; grandchildren Ezra, Sylar and Reagan; sisters, Donna Longworth, Carole Williams, Jan (Harold) Jessop; brothers, William (Betty) Tallman, Ken (Ginney) Tallman, Jim (Kelly) Tallman; many nieces and nephews and all of her camping buddies.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gabrail and the staff at Gabrail Cancer Center, Aultman Hospice and everyone who helped over all this time.

A Memorial Service will be held MONDAY, 2 PM, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Jim Gindlesberger officiating. The family will receive friends ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time. Final resting place Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Connie's name are requested to the Humane Society of Stark Co., 5100 Peach St NE, Louisville, OH 44641.
