Dale C. Minks, 84 of Canal Fulton, passed away Nov. 27, 2016. He was born Mar. 6, 1932 to the late Willard and Esther (Eschliman) Minks of North Lawrence. Dale served four years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Ohio Edison. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his wife of 62 years Ruth Ann (Schroeder) Minks; son, Eric (Sherry) Minks; daughter, Jane Lavis (Minks); four grandchildren, Adam (Allison) Minks, Ben (Sarah) Minks, Erica (Doug) Swartz, Emily (Keith) Blowers; great-grandchildren, Colton, Cooper and Miles Minks, Isaac and Kai Swartz, Kensington and Everly Blowers. He is also survived by sisters, Kate (Dutch) Thomas and Carol Peterman, sister-in-law Leila Rohr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Deltha Schroeder; sister-in-law, Sally Kurtz; brother-in-law, Dick Peterman. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3pm, Pastor Lynn Williamson officiating.
