Daniel D. Snyder, 43, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 4, 2016 while vacationing in the Dominican Republic. Born on February 8, 1973, he had been an Akron area resident all of his life. Dan graduated from Northwest High School Class of ’91, the University of Akron, School of Music as a percussionist, and the University of Akron, School of Law in 2011. He was employed as Assistant General Counsel for EnvisionRX and was a member of the Eighth Light Dojo. Dan enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, loved music, Howard Stern, cooking, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his fiancée Jennifer at their new home.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Eleanor Bigham, Hubert and Mary Snyder; Dan is survived by his fiancée, Jennifer Spies; father, Dennis Snyder; mother Eileen Snyder; brothers, Mark (Terri), Andy (Megan) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held for family and friends, SUNDAY, December 11, 2016, 12pm to 3pm, at Occasion’s Party Center, 6800 Manchester Rd., New Franklin, OH. A eulogy will be given at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan’s name are requested to Cuyahoga Valley National Parks, 15610 Vaughn Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 or the Eighth Light Dojo, 1177 South Hametown Rd., Akron, Ohio 44321.
