Joan and family, I just found out about Merlin's passing and I am so sorry for your loss. Joan and Merlin were Ed and my best next door neighbors ever when we lived in Canal Fulton from 1986 thru 2005. God be with you all. Margo Mitchell

Joan, Merlin was such a gentle man. It was always a pleasure being around you both at our class functions. I know you will be able to pull through this and in time get back to a normal life. My prayers go out to your family. He will be missed.

Joan, Trudy, Elaine, and families,
Larry and I were so sorry to hear the sad news about Merlin. You have our sympathy and prayers.
As I was thinking back to when I was in the eighth grade and often stayed with Trudy at her home, memories flooded back. Their Mom had her hands full with Merlin, Trudy, and Elaine. Merlin was just a few years older than me and was a perfect shot across the table with a spoon of mashed potatoes. I remember many happy times spent with that family.

When I saw that Merlin passed away, I sent an text to all my family to asked for their prayers for him. I also remember all the fond memories from "The Boys" camping when we were young to working my first job at Fulton Family Hardware to Merlin selling me my first property. To say our families go way back is an understatement. I will miss Merlin but I will remember him as a kind and gentle man. May you all find peace in your memories as well. God Bless Merlin and all of you!
