Mildred "Millie" Marie Royer (maiden name Banks) passed away peacefully Tuesday evening January 16th, 2018 at the age of 96. She rejoins her lifelong partner and husband of 71 years, the late Rev. Glenn Royer, in Heaven. She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Royer (Ira), Daniel Royer (Sandra) and Paul Royer (Frances), and her grandchildren, Melissa Royer, Heather Houtz and Colin Royer, who are joyful that the revered couple is reunited. Millie was a loving and supportive wife to Glenn as they negotiated a truly Christian and Spiritual path through their life together, blessing the lives of all who had the good fortune to have known them. Together they served in Ohio UCC pastorates at St. Peters in Clinton, David’s in Canal Winchester and, in retirement, at Trinity in Wooster and Trinity in Canal Fulton. Millie actively served in many church groups, including choir, as director, youth group, and community support functions. Everyone who had met her remembers her beautiful smile and welcoming personality. She will be missed greatly by all whose lives she touched.
