Arlene B. Martin 80, of Canal Fulton passed away Tuesday May 9, 2017 at her home with her family by her side, following a battle with cancer. Born in Frametown W.Va. March 8,1937, she retired from the Exchange Bank, First Merit and Applecreek Banks in Canal Fulton after 35 years of service. She enjoyed swimming with her grandchildren, flowers around her house and watching the Cavs and Browns games. Preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 44 years, James O. Martin, parents Emery and Cora (Samples) Workman, brothers Euhl and Blaine Workman and sister Pearl Workman. She is survived by Jake Manley her sweetheart of 17 years, daughter Debbie and husband Skip Schneider of New Franklin, Son Randy and wife Jayne Martin of North Lawrence. Grandchildren, Shannon and husband Robby Boak, Danny Nestor, Shawna Schneider and Great grandchildren Kaylynn, Trenton and Zander Boak. Sisters, Dona Fields of Canal Fulton and Mattie Rudersmith of North Lawrence. Brothers, Jake (Pearl) Workman of LaGrange, Earl (Marcella) Workman of New London and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be SATURDAY 10:00 am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry Street East (Rte. 93) with Rev. Roderick Grabski officiating. Burial will be at Newmans Creek Cemetery, North Lawrence, Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY 5 -7 pm.
