Carolyn J. Workinger (Boettler), 93 of Jackson Twp., passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born January 28, 1925 in Greensburg, OH to the late Fredrick and Gladys (Young) Boettler she was a life time member of Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren, where she was very active in all church activities. Carolyn was a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau and enjoyed making wedding cakes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Workinger; daughter, Joyce Weirich; brothers Don and Atlee Boettler. Carolyn is survived by sons, Elden (Judith) and Leroy (Beverly) Workinger; son-in-law, Craig (Cindy) Weirich; grandchildren, Matt, Mary, Scott, Angela, Chris, Amanda, Bill, Dawn, Chad, Allen and Mike; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Theda Alexander, Margaret Meermans and Lois Rhodes.
Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY, 11am at the Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren, 4152 Mt. Pleasant St. NW., North Canton, Pastor Bruce Jacobsen officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Jackson Twp. Friends may call Monday 4pm to7pm and Tuesday one hour prior to services both AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren.
