Daniel Richard Erslan

Daniel R. Erslan, 70 of Canal Fulton, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018. Born on April 24, 1947 in Akron to the late Joseph and Mary (Ward) Erslan, Dan retired from the Biltrite Corporation and previously worked for Goodyear. Dan enjoyed golfing, computers and any gadget he could come up with. He was a proud graduate of Akron East High School Class of '65. Dan was a loving husband, father and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Stephan Erslan. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Gail (Guthier) Erslan; son, Eric (Eileen) Erslan; brother Paul (Nancy) Erslan; sister-in-law, Lyn (Brad) Petraitis and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held TUESDAY, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Melrose High School Permanent Scholorship Fund, PO Box 760695, Melrose, MA 02176, c/o the Stephan J. Erslan Memorial Scholarship or to a charity of your choice.
