Eian Jay Simmons, born July 23rd, 1987, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Canal Fulton, Ohio passed peacefully at his home on March 5th, 2017. Eian excelled at soccer for many years throughout his youth, eventually playing for Northwest High School. He was a graduate of Northwest, Class of 2006 where he made and cherished many friendships, even until the day he passed. He attended Stark State College briefly, maintaining a 4.0 and making the Dean's list two semesters consecutively. Eian was passionate about learning. He believed the world was too interesting not to learn all you can about. He moved to Florida in 2012 to start a new chapter in his life and worked for Chops Steak and Lobster Bar. His journey in the Florida sunshine continued and brought him to Deerfield Beach, FL where he found a home and settled down. He met many new friends and neighbors and was soon loved by everyone who knew him. He found a career in the plumbing industry with Plumbing Mart Inc. He was taught by his peers and taken under the wings of Bob Hessing, Chris Williams, Pat Sause and many others. Eian quickly surpassed expectations in his plumbing career as he did in everything he ever set his mind to. Eian was a leader by nature. He did not follow the crowd, rather, the crowd often gathered around him. His friends and family will remember his one of a kind sense of humor, adventurous spirit, love of animals,and kindness to other people. He is preceded in death by: His father Jeffrey Simmons, grandmother Carolyn S Strebel and grandparents Robert and Betty Simmons. He is survived by his loving mother Pamela Simmons, sister Bayleigh (Jake) Thomas, nephews Zane Ries and Mason Thomas, girlfriend Nicole Shoemaker, beloved fur-children Frank and Moira, his grandfather Earl (Betty) Mayle, and his best friend Paul Tropea. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles cousins, friends and neighbors "If love could have saved you, youwould have lived forever. "

 A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton and where friends may call SATURDAY 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
