Marlene and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. While working at Mazzella he taught me so many things and was my favorite Lifting Specialist! I have the fondest memories of him and held Gary at high admiration. He was the first to take me with him to a steel mill, and keeping up with him wasn’t easy. He walked at a small jog and trying to keep up gave me blisters on my heels while wearing my new steel toe boots. I think my favorite memory was when he brought me flowers, we had a disagreement and was gruff, and the next day, as an apology, there he stood with flowers. Marlene, you may have had something to do with the flowers but his apology was sweet.
He sure did love his family. He would talk about the trips and updates on Shawn’s football career at Michigan and then when he became a grandparent. Good man he was!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our Condolences. My Sister Victoria Witt Had Written This Poem For A Time Such As This:
When I Go Away
Victoria Ann Witt

When I go away;
Will you remember me,
the one who brought forth
Many wonderful colors of life?
There within you;
the questions lies unanswered;
to leave open a book of life.
To span the possibilities of finding.
I’m not really away;
but live within the walls of your mind,
which has many rooms to stay.
I will be there to give you smiles and
joys of Memories I left you,
of good thoughts.
I will never go away;
as long as you remember......
