New Franklin---Mark A. Barley, 57, passed away February 3, 2018 unexpectedly due to an illness. He was born March 2, 1960 in Fostoria, OH, the son of Calvin Barley and Nancy K. Fruth. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan, loved fishing and boating at Alum Creek and was a skilled carpenter. Mark's career began in Columbus at Sutherland Construction, retiring from Kenmore Construction in Akron, and enjoyed the people that he worked with.
Preceded in death by his mother, Nancy K. Fruth; son, Mark, Jr. and granddaughter Annabella Sagstetter. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Bradley) Schultz, Erica Barley, Kristin Barley; sisters, Lynne Russell, Kathy Wheeler; brother, Bruce Barley; nieces Kelly and Molly Wheeler; nephews Kyle, Joe and Ian Barley; grandchildren, Jonas Allan, Dahlia, Rebecca and Hank.
