Mary "Pat" Rohr, 89 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Rose Lane Health Center. Born in Massillon on December 22, 1928 to the late Royal and Leola (Brogan) Smith she had been a Brookfield/Canal Fulton area resident all of her life. She was a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, was a Eucharistic Minister and a lifetime member of the Canal Fulton VFW #9795 Ladies Auxiliary. Pat dedicated her life to the service of others, gave herself to her family whole heartedly as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and tirelessly gave to friends and neighbors whenever they were in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; great-granddaughter, Lucia and sister, Eileen Smith. Pat is survived by her children, Dennis (Greg Garansi), Thomas (Joan), Mary (Paul) Alexander, Beth (Ralph) Klein, Patty (the late Charles Bebout) and Eileen 21 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY, 11am, SS Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 High St. N, Canal Fulton, Fr. Kevin McCaffrey, celebrant. Burial in the church cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers memorials in Pat's name can be made to the Barberton Community Pregnancy Center, 180 1st St NW, Barberton, OH 44203.
