Ada June Anderson (affectionately known as "Brownie" & "Nanny")

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ada June Anderson, lovingly known to many as "Brownie," on March 18, 2025, at the age of 92. Ada was born on May 24, 1932, in rural Eastern Kentucky and throughout her remarkable life, she became a source of love, joy, and inspiration for all who knew her.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Ada had a love for God, cooking, and creating memorable moments for her family and church. Her kindness and compassion left an indelible mark on all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, her youngest son David and grandson Robert. She is survived by her sons, Jim and Gary, their spouses Robin and Mary, as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who will forever treasure her love and cherished memories.

A memorial service to celebrate Ada's extraordinary life will be held on THURSDAY, March 27, 2025, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E., Canal Fulton, OH 44614. Visitation Thursday 11am to 1pm prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her legacy and the joy she brought to the world. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ada's name are requested to the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 2806 Maco Dr., Norton, OH 44203.
