Alan N. Tabellion, 85 of North Lawrence, passed away March 10, 2014. He was born in Massillon to Nick and Hattie (Morsheiser) Tabellion. He graduated from Jackson High School and was a member of SS. Philip and James church in Canal Fulton. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the Laborers Local Union #1015. He worked for many years with Gibbons and Grable and then with Gaetano Contractors from which he retired from in 1991. He is survived by his wife Jennie (Dudewach) Tabellion whom he married in 1953, his children Michael (Wanda) Tabellion of Severna Park MD, Stephen (Angel) Tabellion of Massillon, Diane (Scott) Barnes of North Lawrence and Gayle Tabellion of Massillon, and seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He enjoyed going to auctions, hunting, beekeeping, growing fruits and vegetables and sharing the harvest with family and friends. For many years he raised and sold pumpkins in the fall and Christmas trees in the winter. He continued gardening until his last year of his life. Work and family are what kept him happy.
