Amanda Carolyn Anderson, 23, resident of Canal Fulton, daughter of John E. Anderson, passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2011. Amanda was born September 6, 1988 in Barberton, OH where she spent the early years of her life before moving to Akron and then to Canal Fulton, a place that would become her home for the majority of her short life. She attended Northwest High School and graduated from Life Skills in 2008. More recently, she began working on her post-secondary education. Amanda enjoyed her position at McDonald's, hanging out with her friend, Chris, listening to music and spending time with family. Additionally, she was an accomplished licensed SCUBA diver and took many dives with her father. When she looked to her future, she dreamed of earning a degree and one day having a family of her own. Those who loved Amanda will remember her for her innocent spirit, her hopeful disposition and her dedication to her job. Amanda is survived by her father, John Anderson and her brother Johnny Anderson "Junior". She also leaves Roma Anderson, Kristen Anderson, and Jonathan Hartz, along with her grandmother, Carol Olson, several aunts and uncles and 12 cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 7, 2011, 8:00 P.M. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Calling Hours Friday 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
