Angela Marie Grosso Powell, 68, passed away May 10, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Sydney and Lydia Morar Grosso and the wife of the late George Powell II. Angela was an active member of Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, where she was the business manager for several years. She retired as cash manager at Goodrich after thirty-three years of service. Angela was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Angela is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julie Powell and a sister, Patricia Grosso. Angela is survived by a son, George S. Powell,III and wife Heather of Wilmington, NC; daughters, Jean Marie Dietz and husband Scott of Ohio and Terry Powell of Ohio; grandchildren, Rob, Curtis and Spencer Workman, Adam and Zach Strong, Garrett and Gweneth Powell; great-grandson, Bentley Strong; sister-in-law, Barbara Powell. Funeral service MONDAY 10:30 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte.93, Canal Fulton) with visitation SUNDAY 4:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Asso., P.O.
