Arthur V. Norris, Jr. 87 of Canal Fulton died Thursday, January 28, 2016. Art was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and had live in the Canal Fulton area most of his life. A veteran of both the Merchant Marines and the U. S. Coast Guard, he retired from C.R. Kurtz Heating. Art was a member of Canal Fulton United Methodist Church and was a skilled carpenter and wood craftsman. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur V. and Myrtle Norris; brothers, Bud, Edward and Ronald, he is survived by his wife of 67 years Laurabelle (Mays) Norris; sons, Bruce (Carol), Todd (Stephani), Scott (Sonya) and Lance (Debra); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Ellen), Thomas (Paulette) and Donald (Roberta) and sister, Mable Long; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 W. Cherry St. with Pastor Jon George officiating and where friends may call Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Canal Fulton United Methodist.
