Barbara Jeanne Kinney (Hunter) passed away peacefully Friday, September 2nd at Chapel Hill Nursing Home, she was suffering from Dementia as well as Alzheimer's. She was born in Chariton, Iowa on March 25, 1931, she worked at Social Security for years, after retiring from there, she went to work at Bordner's grocery store. Upon retiring from there she enjoyed walking as much as she could, visiting with her friends & neighbors. She was preceded in death by her brother Billy Hunter, father William J Hunter, mother Lucy Hunter (Byrum), brother Bob Hunter, and sister-in-law Donna Hunter. She is survived by son Steve Combs (Cindy), granddaughter Nichole Fye, grandsons Steven (Meg) Combs, David (Kelli) Combs, great grandchildren Cody Davis, Lincoln Combs, Violet Combs, and Sebastian Combs, nieces Kim Rehm (Hunter), Tamara Stephenson (Hunter), nephews Mike and Nick Hunter. Per her request she wanted to be cremated, wanted no services, she didn't want anyone making a fuss or feeling sorry for her.
