Barbara J. Kmetko, 74 of Canal Fulton died Wednesday, Nov.14, 2012. She was born in Alliance and had been a resident of Canal Fulton for 44 years. Barbara was a librarian at the Canal Fulton Public Library for 20 years, was a former Den mother in Scouting and was a former member of the Hill and Hollow Garden Club. She was a longtime active member of the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents; brother Bob Allison and sister, Frances Six; she is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Kmetko; sons, Kyle Kmetko and Kirk (Amanda) Kmetko; brothers, Clifford and Thomas Allison; nieces and nephews. Funeral service MONDAY 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Kathy Moody-Arndt, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home SUNDAY 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Parish Nursing Services at Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 W. Cherry St., Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
