Barbara J. Newman, 83 of Doylestown, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was born April 23, 1941 in Barberton to the late James and Elsie Paterson and had been a lifelong area resident. She retired from Manchester Tool after many years of service. Barbara enjoyed bowling, ice cream and going to the beach. She loved her dogs and was a faithful watcher of Young and the Restless for 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Newman; sisters, Hazel Gillilan and Janet Batche. Barbara is survived by her children, Julie (Guy) Brink, Lon (Wanda) Newman, Len (Gayle) Newman and Tracy (boyfriend Kevin Hensley) Newman; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Sherilyn Ryneer; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, February 3, 2025, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Manchester Cemetery. Visitation SUNDAY, February 2, 2025, 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home.
