Bette R. Graves, 78 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was born April 21, 1944 to the late Sidney and Evelyn (Johnson) Hamsher and was a life resident of Manchester. Bette was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Wilderness Center Wood Carvers, Manchester PTA and was a Brownie Troop leader for many years. She enjoyed wood carving, painting, gardening, crafting and loved animals especially her cats. She was the most wonderful mother that no one could ever top. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Graves. Bette is survived by her children, Michelle (George) Hammond, Scott (Kristin) Graves, Becky Mehling and John Graves; grandchildren, Michael, Tyler (Jenny), Emily (Kyle), Leanna (Fiance Mike Wilson), Madison, Nathan, Teagan, Julie and Tiffany; great-grandchild, Deacon and brother-in-law, Jeff (Jane) Graves. Funeral Services THURSDAY, June 2, 2022, 7 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and where friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.
