Beverly Jean Kiefer

Beverly Jean (Hogue) Kiefer, age 94, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Beverly was head cook at Northwest Local Schools in Canal Fulton for 22 years. She enjoyed many years of retirement living in Leesburg, Florida. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time golfing and bowling with her friends.

She leaves behind her 3 daughters, Sheryl (Ken) Gross, Vicki Hursh and Renee (Bill) Whitmore; along with 7 grandchildren, John (Melissa) Gross, Sara Bleakley, David (Jessica) Gross, Heather (Matthew) Novak, Bryan (Jaclyn) Hursh, Branon (Michael) Workman, William (Brittany) Whitmore III and her 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John “Wayne” Nettle and Albert Kiefer; and son-in-law, William Hursh.

Calling Hours will be held SUNDAY, April 12, 2026, 3pm to 4pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4pm. Burial to take place at Clinton Cemetery alongside her husband Wayne. In lieu of flowers please donate to Ohio’s Hospice Life Care, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
