Billy G. Schindewolf, 82 went home to be with our Lord on July 24, 2014. He was born in Kentucky on September 21, 1931 and move to Akron at a young age. Bill was a U.S. Marine sSergeant, having served his country in the Korean War. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace and was an active member of the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church. Bill loved traveling, the outdoors and his family. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many activities in which they were involved. He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Gene (Kathy) and Debbie; grandchildren, Nate (Stephanie) Schindewolf and Nela (Tim) Lucey; great grandchildren, Jordan, Mia, Kennedy and Tyler Schindewolf and Ava, Brady, Sophia and Josh Lucey. You will always be in our hearts, Bill, Dad, Grandpa, Papaw. The family will receive friends SUNDAY, July 27, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton. A Memorial Service with Pastor Jon George officiating will be held MONDAY, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 W. Cherry St., Canal Fulton. Final resting place will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill's memory to the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church.
