Blanche M. Babich, 101 formerly of Barberton, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Summa Akron City Hospital. Born in Akron to the late Benjamin and Sophia (Ochap) Gutowski she had been a Summit County resident her entire life having worked in retail and banking her whole life, retiring from First Federal Bank of Akron. Blanche enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with her husband and nephews. Even though she had no children of her own she adored her nieces and nephews like they were her children.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Vincent Babich; sister Alfreda (Steve) Chesko and brother Al (Della) Gutowski. Blanche is survived by her brother George (Joyce) Denilen; nieces Patricia Meyer and Barbara (Steve) Day; and nephews, Stephen (Sue) Chesko and Thomas (Jeanne) Chesko.

Private Services were held at the convenience of the family.
