Bonnie M. Eberly, 83 of North Lawrence, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Born on June 27, 1939 to the late Robert and Katherine Hartong, she retired as a bus driver from Tuslaw Schools with over 25 years of service. Bonnie was a huge Tuslaw fan and would drive the kids to every sporting event she could. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sitting on the lawn mower for hours. Bonnie especially loved her family and taking care of them. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph Eberly; sons, Jim (Darla) and Brian (Robyn) Eberly; daughter, Sharon Justice; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Stephens, Robert (Eleanor) Hartong, Larry Hartong, Janet Curtis, Lois (Gary) Maxhimer, Kenny (Jane) Hartong, Jerry (Mary Ann) Hartong and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, March 20, 2023, 1pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to service time on Monday.
