Brenda Lois (Stevens) Lockhart, 56 of Lawrence Township died Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born August 12 , 1958 in Lynchburg, Virginia, was a graduate of the University of Akron. Brenda was employed at Lucia's Restaurant and previously at The City Grille and was a member of the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Preceded in death by her fathers, Millard S. Stevens, Sr.; Calvin Ray Ferguson ; father-in-law, Frank Lockhart and nephew, Aaron Lockhart, Brenda is survived by husband, Shawn; sons, Cory (Katie) Lockhart and Kyle Lockhart; mother, Zelma B. "Zee" Ferguson; mother-in-law, Bess Lockhart; sister, Nancy (Kenny) Koehler; brother; Stan Stevens; brother-in-law, Frank N. Lockhart, Jr.; sister-in-law , Becky (Cliff) Stewart; extended Ferguson brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service FRIDAY, 11:00 am at the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 West Cherry St. Canal Fulton with Rev. Jon George officiating. Friends may call THURSDAY, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and FRIDAY from 10 am until time of services AT THE CHURCH. Burial will take place at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
