Catherine "Kit" Mehl, born December 18, 1946, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Kit was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loving partner. She touched countless lives through her years as a sixth-grade teacher in the Northwest School District, where she inspired generations of students with her wisdom, kindness, and quiet strength. Kit's legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she influenced with her warm heart and unwavering support. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, fierce independence, and deep love for those closest to her. As per her wishes, no services will be held. The family kindly requests no flowers. Those wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to do so in their own meaningful way.
