Charles Henry Diesz, 79 of Green, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. Born on September 4, 1937 in Akron to the late Lawrence and Lucille (Dague) Diesz, Charles had been a life time resident of the Akron area and retired after 40 years of service with Summit County. Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy, a 32nd Degree Mason and loved his dogs, playing baseball and watching boxing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Patricia (Meyers) Diesz; children, Larry (Ann) Diesz, Wendy Troyer Diesz, Toni Santiago Diesz, Randy (Chris) Diesz and Kimberly Sharpless; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister, Patricia Jordan.

A Memorial Service will be held FRIDAY, July 7, 2017, 4pm to 7pm at the John Torok Senior Center, 4224 Massillon Rd, North Canton. From 7pm to 8pm will be an open mic for stories and final thoughts.
