Charles Noel, 92 of North Lawrence passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 4, 1929 in North Lawrence where he was a life long resident. Charles graduated from Northwest High School in 1948 and was a proud Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a life long farmer and retired from Canton Drop Forge. Charles belonged to several horse clubs and loved trail riding and all animals. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Noel, sister, Eva Mae Hippert and her mother, Mettie; son-in-law, Troy Misko. Charles is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years, Ida (Amon) Noel; four daughters, Janice Noel (Richard Covey), Nancy (Ray) Collins, Linda Misko and Ida (Robert "Jake") Crum; 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, December 11, 2021, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial with military honors at Newmans Creek Cemetery. Visitation Saturday, ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home.
