Charlotte Evans Markowski, 82 of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1941, in Plain Grove, PA to Raymond T. and Mary E. (Sterrett) Squires. Charlotte started her bookkeeping career at Goodyear and retired her books after 25 years of service at Grass Master. Charlotte loved her horses, dogs, and cats. Her favorite place to be "the barn". Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sonja Barbara Kitchen and her niece Patricia Cottrell. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Joel) Durkin; son, Chris (Brittany) Markowski; grandchildren, James, Mary and Anne Durkin, Belle, Jordan and Peyton Markowski; great-grandson, Anthony Fitzwater, grandson in her heart, Timothy Fitzwater and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held SATURDAY, January 13, 2024, 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. At the request of the family, there will be a private gathering at 5pm by invitation only.
