Cheryl Mae Gross, 81 of Barberton went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 19, 2018. Cheryl was born March 19, 1937 in Massillon and was a long time resident of Barberton. She devoted most of her life to caring for others and was a member of Columbia United Church of Christ, Barberton. Preceded in death by her parents Doyle Merriman and Nellie (Brewer) Schwiger, her husband, Rodney Gross and son-in-law, Robert Gilbert. She is survived by her children, Theresa Gilbert and Dave (Jennifer) Gross; brother, Jack (Rose) Yurick, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew; beloved poodle, Lilly Mae. Funeral Service MONDAY 11:00 am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt. 93,) Canal Fulton with Rev. John Henniger and her grandson, Kyle Gross officiating.
