Obituary

Clara E. Gindlesberger, 81, is now dancing in heaven with the love of her life, Thurl, after four long years. She passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Rose Lane Health Center. Clara was born in Millersburg, Ohio, but lived most of her life in the Canal Fulton area. She retired in 1994 from the Village of Canal Fulton, where she served as the City Clerk, and Water Dept. Secretary. She was a Golden Sheath member of the Fulton Grange and a member of the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thurl Gindlesberger; parents, Arthur Blair and Lillian Wagner; and sister, Dora Mae (Wagner) Porter. She loved her four children, Heidi (Jason) Dewey, Anne (Skip) Frizzell, Sue (Steve) Newbrough, and James (Dee) Gindlesberger to the very end along with six fun loving grandchildren, Christine, Samuel, Amber, Brad, Breann and Paige; brothers, Oran (Christel) Wagner and Art (Janet) Wagner; and special sister-in-law, Euna Kellar. She never met anyone she couldn't love; quite an example for us all!! Funeral service 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton), with Pastor Darryl Moulder and James Gindlesberger officiating and where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. FRIDAY. Grange service at 4:30 p.m. Interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Jackson Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rose Lane Health Center, Activities Fund, 5425 High Mill Avenue, Massillon, OH 44646.
