Obituary

Clarence "Clem" Hartman, 84, of Canal Fulton, died, Saturday, November 20, 2010. Clem was born in Doylestown and had been a longtime resident of Canal Fulton. He was an Army veteran of World War II, retired from Ohio Litho, Akron and was a member of SS. Philip & James Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to Canada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; special friend, JoAnn F. Bauer; brothers, Joseph and Leo; sisters, Celia and Margaret; and parents, Joseph and Mary. He is survived by sons, Thomas (Maria) Hartman of Akron, Larry (Sandy) Hartman of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Linda Swiat of Homerville; grandchildren, Adam, Samantha, Lee, Rebecca, Daniel and Amy; numerous great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held SATURDAY, 10 a.m. at SS. Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 High St. N., Canal Fulton, with Fr. John Warner officiating. Burial with Military Honors by VFW #9795 at Canal Fulton Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
