Clarence "Dub" V. Benson, Jr., 79 of Canal Fulton, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was born August 17, 1945 to the late Clarence Sr. and Norma (Sander) of North Lawrence. Dub served four years in the US Army, was self-emplyed doing woodworking as well as employed at Timken. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working outdoors on his yard, as well as spending time with friends. Dub attended Grace Bible Church in New Franklin and went on a mission trip to Brazil several years ago. Dub is survived by his son, Kyle (Amanda) Benson; granddaughters, Emilia and Rowan; and stepdaughter, Heather (Matt) Hayton. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Marcia) Benson, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, February 15, 2025, 12:00 PM (NOON) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with Pastor Cary Duckett officiating.
