Clarita Ventrone (Smith), a long time resident of the Akron area, died Thursday, June16, 2016 at Rose Lane Nursing and Rehab. Center. Born in 1928 in Akron, Ohio, she is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Joe) Francis of Canal Fulton and Deborah (Belford) Bowman of West Salem, Ohio; sisters, Judy (Glenn) Mellinger of Uniontown, Ohio and Jennifer (Steve) Blankenship of Akron, Ohio; brother, Terry (Brenda) Smith of Canal Fulton, Ohio; Five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Mike Ventrone; her daughters, Patty Connor, Ellen Ostafin and Susan Meese; granddaughter, Amanda Russell; brother, Tom (Betty) Smith of Barberton and sister, Hazel Ramsay of Akron.

Funeral Service will be held SATURDAY, JUNE 25, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt. 93 Canal Fulton) with Pastor Doug Dill officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron. There will be NO calling hours.
