Claude D. Greenfield, 78 of Canal Fulton formerly of Niles, OH, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. Born January 3, 1944 in Niles to the late Howard Sr. and Hazel (Jackson) Greenfield, Claude was a long distance owner/operator truck driver for 35 years and worked for R&L for 15 years. Claude served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Portage Lakes Eagles 2736. He enjoyed fishing, boating and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Claude especially loved watching his grandchildren play ball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria Riley Greenfield; brothers, Howard Jr. and Jack Greenfield; sister Donna Mae Greenfield. Claude is survived by his children, Jason (Stephanie) Greenfield, David (Michelle) Pelles and Tammy (Eric) Pelles Wolfe; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Honzu and brother, Charles Greenfield. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
