Corrine C. Domer, 88 of North Lawrence died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Aultman Hospital. Corrine was born in Canton and had been a life resident of Stark County. She was an Army Cadet RN in World War II and a graduate of Akron City School of Nursing. She worked at several area hospitals and also at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Dalton. Corrine was a member of the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, North Lawrence and the United Methodist Women's Society. Preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, John "Fred" and Deborah Domer; infant son, Douglas Domer and sister, Ruth Schneider, she is survived by her husband of 67 years, John R. Domer; daughters, Judy (Kim) Schrock and Jennifer (Harry) Porter; grandchildren, Johnna Schrock (Brandon) Keck, Kenneth Alan Schrock, Steven (Cassandra) Porter, Daniel (Jaime) Porter, John Ross Domer and Jaclyn Domer; five great grandchildren and sister, Anna Lee Hall. Funeral service WEDNESDAY , 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville St. NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666 with Rev. Ignatius David, officiating. Burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY at the CHURCH, one hour prior to time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church.
