Curtis S. Bolyard of Canal Fulton passed away Sunday, December 29 at age 72. He was preceded in death by his father Charley, mother Eva, sister Ruth and his dog Rambo. He is survived, remembered and loved by his wife Norma, children Carrie Foutty (Robert), Susan Rearick, David Bolyard (Dee), Teresa Mezerkor (Dennis), Brian Snider, Jamie Williams (Mike), 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers Frank and Russell, and sisters Mary Moutrey (George) of Florida, and Sherry Jones (Jerry) of Philippi, WV and his pets Peanut and Joe. Curt was born in Philippi, West Virginia in 1941, and relocated to the Akron area in 1959. He went to work for Goodyear Aerospace and retired from there in 2001. In 1970 he moved to Canal Fulton. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Curt had a special love of nature and animals that he shared with his wife. His kindness, generosity, mischievous grin, and warm, loving hugs will be affectionately remembered and profoundly missed. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 10:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry Street in Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial gifts to the Stark County Humane Society.
