CLINTON-Dan W Bailey,88,passed away January 29 at home after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Anna Louise and brother Richard. He is survived by his children Beth, Barbara and Danny. He was a lifelong resident of Clinton and retired from Firestone in 1986 after 43 years. He enjoyed singing barbershop, in church, and for community functions. He had been actively involved in Clinton Kiwanis and Clinton Historical Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday February 2nd at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron. Visitation will start at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron,OH 44333 or the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.
