Dana S. Ries age 53, of Canton died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 unexpectedly at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born January 11, 1960 in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Wilson and Julia Ries. Dana lived in Clinton and Canal Fulton for most of his life and during the last 16 years lived in Jackson and Perry Township where he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Dana was employed at Trugreen in North Canton for 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi J. Ries; three sons, K.C. and Christopher Ries , and Jim Oser; daughter, Tammy Oser; and grandson, Zane. He is also survived by four brothers, Donald, Gary, Richard and Brian; one sister, Mary; and many nieces and nephews.

Dana will be missed by many and his best times were with both his families at home and Atwood Lake.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 17th, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home at 624 East Cherry Street, Canal Fulton. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday.
