Daniel J. Nestor, 66 of New Franklin, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 28, 2025. He was born July 27, 1959 to the late Daniel James and LaVonne (Skinner) Nestor. Dan was a retired mechanic and worked for various companies over the years. He was a gifted mechanic and could fix or rebuild anything with an engine. Dan enjoyed riding motorcycles, dune buggies, working on cars, hunting and was an avid collector of anything John Deere. He was also a member of the Portage Lakes Eagles 2736.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Wright-Schultz. Dan is survived by his son, Danny Nestor; sisters, Tari (Gary) Reynolds and Peggie (Rick) Stanley; uncle, Bill (Kathy) Skinner; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held THURSDAY, September 4, 2025, 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Graveside Service Friday, 11am at Manchester Cemetery, New Franklin. Please meet at the cemetery.
