Daniel Racin, 88, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Daniel was born and raised in Marshallville, OH, graduating from Doylestown High School in 1953. In 1960 he married his wife, Irene. His early jobs led him to over a 30 year career as a carpenter for Galehouse Construction, retiring in 1996. While he enjoyed carpentry, he also made time to help his children on their many projects. His belief in God and his example to many will always be remembered. Patients and kindness were his strong virtues.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Racin; sisters, Mary, Ann and Dorothy; brothers, George, Mike, Bill, John and Charles "Chick". Daniel is survived by his son, Daniel Racin; his daughter, Naomi Wake and grandchildren, Benjamin Wake and Jacob Wake.
