Darla Sue Hooper, 55 of New Franklin, passed away May 31, 2021. She was born May 18, 1966 in Akron and was the transportation coordinator at Manchester Local Schools. Darla is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Greg. Her 3 children, Gregory (Amanda), Nicholas (Nicole) and Corynne (Jason). Darla's favorite title was being a gigi to her 5 grandchildren, Nolan, Charlie, Colton, Ellianna and Kenzington. She is also survived by her mother and father, Gloria and Larry; in-laws Sandra and Allan. Darla has 9 siblings, Shelly, Russell (Sheila), Theresa (Don), Robin (Marty), Randy (Jeniece), Holley (Chris), Scott (Brandy), and Christie (Matt), along with many nieces and nephews. In her free time Darla could be found at her boat. Dockside was her favorite place to be, with her lake family, and their dog Chester. Darla loved her grandkids more than life. Her smile would brighten the darkest days, and she will be missed immensely. Private Services will be held for the family.
