Dave O. Hess, 75 of Clinton died Monday, July 21, 2014.He was born April 20, 1939 in Massillon to the late Orin and Leona (Kick) Hess. David was raised in Jackson Township and has spent 57 years in Clinton and retired from East Ohio Gas Company after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, yard work and especially restoring his old John Deere tractors. He was always willing to lend a hand and help a friend in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Hess and dog, Moose. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Bittner) Hess; daughter, Pam (Ron) Kibbe; grandchildren, Andrew Kibbe and Anastasiya Kibbe; brother, Marvin Hess; sister, Lavonne Stano and dog, Logger. Funeral Service FRIDAY 6 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). Friends may call FRIDAY from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m.. Final Resting place Clinton Cemetery.
