David C. Carver, 63 of Akron passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. David was a life resident of Akron and Manchester area. He was a 1970 graduate of Manchester High School, received his Bachelor's from the University of Akron and his MLS from Kent State University. He retired from the Akron-Summit County Library after 35 years of service and was a strong supporter of the local arts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia (Reisinger) and Chadwick Carver and is survived by his sister, Ruth (Frank) Capasso; niece Rebecca Capasso and nephew Charles Capasso; great niece, Samantha and great nephew, Alexander; cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY, Sept. 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt.93, Canal Fulton) and where friends may call TUESDAY from 10:00 a.m until time of the service. Pastor Thom Kalb will officiate and burial will be at Manchester Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
