Dean R. Yeater, 72 of Akron, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025. He was born September 28, 1953 to the late Richard and Carol (Schueller) Yeater. He was a proud Army veteran and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Savannah, Georgia. Dean worked as a machinist for many years and retired from Ohio Gasket. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing.

Dean is survived by his sister, Lisa (Tony) Deventure; brother, Jack (Gretchen) Yeater; nieces and nephews, Shannon, Mark, Jaclyn, Ashley, Michael and Madison. Special thanks to dear friends Faith and Michael Blasdel for all their kindness and support.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held MONDAY, June 23, 2025, 2:45pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH. Please meet at the cemetery by 2:30pm.
