Deloise A. "Lois" Gerry, 74, formerly of Canal Fulton died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at The Inn at the University Village. Lois was born in West Virginia and had been a Canal Fulton area resident for more than 40 years. She was a graduate of Garfield High School and had been a lifelong homemaker and prayer warrior.. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Donald Louis Gerry in 2008; parents, David and Hazel Strouth and sister Betty McDonald. Lois is survived by her sons, Dan (Sue) Gerry, Dennis (Angie) Gerry, Donald (Lynne`) Gerry, Darren (Deneine) Gerry and Doug (Lisa) Gerry; Eight grandchildren, Five great grandchildren and brother, David Strouth. Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry Street (Rt.93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Douglas Dill officiating. Burial in Lakewood Cemetery, Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home THURSDAY, 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services.
