On March 3rd, the world lost the great Denise Lindeman, known to all as Neesee.

Daughter of the late Howard Lindeman and Gretchen Casey, Sister of Kirk (Jo Ann), Eric (Dena), and Troy (Bradley), sister-in-law to Lisa, aunt to Patrick (Christine), Derek (Sarah), Tristen (Ariana), Jake (Mollie), Brayden (Reagan), and Alayna (Zac), great aunt to Benjamin and Maria, and friend to many more. Neesee was one of those people who took care of everyone, especially all the cousins and kids that she helped to raise over so many years.

Neesee loved the beach, Ohio State football, cooking, dogs, sweet treats, reading, candles, and many more things. She powered through some complicated health stuff these past few years, which just this weekend took an intense turn.

Neesee's adventures in life included sharing a pizza and pie shop with her cousins Lissa and Julie in Amish country, many trips to the Outer Banks, Siesta Key, and Las Vegas, and shenanigans with multiple generations of Lindemans. Neesee never met a stranger.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent individually to the Outer Banks Community Foundation, obcf.org , in honor of the vacation that Neesee was planning for this summer. Celebrate her life by sharing love and joy with each other. And perhaps with a piece of really good pie. A celebration of life for family and friends will be planned for a later date.
