Dennis L. Wittman, Sr., 69 of Manchester, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. Born in Massillon to the late William Sr. and Gertrude (Gesaman) Wittman he was a resident of the Canal Fulton/Manchester area all of his life.

Dennis was a self employed carpenter, a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the NRA. He enjoyed riding Harleys, shooting guns, playing cards with his family and gardening.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by uncle Cecil Wittman. He is survived by sons Dennis Jr (Jeannine) Wittman, Greg (Lori) Wittman; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers Bill (Anne) Wittman, Terry (Lisa) Wittman; aunt Alice Wittman; ex-wife Winona Higashi and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, October 18, 2014, 12pm NOON, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service on SATURDAY.
